Its pretty common here in Florida.  Two girls died a couple of weeks apart last winter.  It isn't just poor girls either.  A lot get connected through different hairdressers.  It is just a shame.

hardly a new process...transsexuals and drag queens alike were getting that sort of treatment in Houston more than 30 years ago, most often with less than a safe 'medical grade' silicone.

I heard about it in the early 70's while I was in the Navy.  An article in Time or the other two glossy weeklies had an article of cis women and "drag queens" going to back alley 'plastic surgeons' to get pumped with the non-medical rated silicone.  The same horror stories.  We haven't learned in the nearly 40 years since.  There are even problems with the approved stuff.  That's why I don't want those things in my body.  I am happy enough with my sub-B's anyway!

You're right, Joelene. The medical system that we have contributes to this. GRS is seen as a cosmetic improvement rather than genuine surgery. The psychiatric establishment say that we are mentally ill which is totally incorrect. They know that gendery binary was much more diverse than than the gender binary system in place now. They didn't have the guts to admit that and this is where we are now..

I am shaken to my core. I am furious at these people, who take advantage of my desperate sisters, with no care in the wold about their heath, only money. I'm horrified to live among people who have lost their humanity.

People will do almost anything for money.
