So i really love these types of clothes and ive been buying a few articles of clothing from goth boutiques and online. I have a favorite site Sourpuss.com and i sometimes buy stuff from there. Usually though i buy stuff that is on sale or clearance since to me its so expensive. The most expensive thing i have bought is a rockabilly top and it cost like 50 dollars with shipping and everything. So to any of you who wear this style of clothing is there any places online preferably that are at least a little bit cheaper? i never understood why this clothing is so expensive but i love it either way. Any info is appreciated
It's probably expensive because it's a niche market. Not into it myself anymore for that very reason -- costs too much.
It's like any other fashion statement that the corporations get wind of and market to anxed out spoiled children ::) It's not like the old days when people actually were death rockers and such :P It's become a commercialised role playing costume party
Your best bet is to go to the thrift stores and put your own original spin to it like the real deal folks have done for years ;)
Hope that helps :)
Buy it second-hand online, or make your own.
Back when I dressed the part, I would take any clothes my friends were getting rid of, and cut and sew them into something completely my own.
Resourcefulness and creativity will get you farther than money. That was the point to begin with, if I recall correctly.
Also, try Etsy if you don't have the time to do it yourself. For rockabilly all you really need is a good pair of jeans that you can roll to just below the knee, a cute tank top or bustier, and a bandanna for your hair. Curl your bangs and focus on the makeup. Watch, "Crybaby", "Grease", and happy days for inspiration, but these days the gals are taking a bit from each gender wardrobe, so just find what you like and make it your own. You can do most of that by going to Goodwill (which is where most of the really-real ones of those scenes get their threads anyway).
If you're paying for punk clothing you're doing it all wrong.

No snickies, you got that right
Although i agree with some of the do it yourself mentality. i also think its perfectly normal for girl's to find something cute that they want to wear that happens to be something of their preference. I would also recommend the thrift store if you have plenty of patience that is. Sometimes it takes a lof of digging around to find things that you like-and in your size  at least from my experience, but i dont limit myself to a specific style just whatever i like. If you find stuff you like i dont think you shouldn't buy it just because of the whole elitist view that certain people have- just go for it.
I find a fair bit of cool goth/punk clothing in thrift stores, I used to buy it on clearance at Hot Topic at the local mall, but in the last 7 years or so, the styles they stock in store have dramatically changed, so that now it is all Twilight shirts, and t-shirts with ironic statements on them.
Also, if you are into alternations and whatnot, lots of cool vintage thing from thrift stores can become the sort of style of clothes you are looking for. I talk to people at my local goth clubs, and either they make their own, buy cheap and alter, or buy at expensive online stores for the most part. I would ask around at your local goth clubs, usually there are some people who make things as a hobby that will give you a price not too much more than those boutique stores.
I also find the magazine Gothic Beauty is a pretty good source of finding stores, and about fashion in general.
ProTip: If they are selling it at a mall, it's no longer cool. If it's on sale at the mall, it's really, not cool.
