Hello, I'm Jack :) Though most of my friends call me Frankie.. xD
I'm a FTM. I came out to my mom about 3 or 4 months ago. (I don't dare tell my dad.. yet.)
I've known about this site for a little bit and I though maybe I should join. :D
So um.. My mom refuses to believe that I'm transgender. I think it'd be miracle if I ever get to go to a gender therapist. So I think I might have to wait until I move out on my own to be able to do anything... but I'm not sure I can wait that long.. :(
I try to dress as much like a guy as I can.. but my mom would never let me buy actual guy clothes (and I'd be kind of embarrassed to ask her..) So I mostly wear bigger clothes that look kind of unisex.
I just got a haircut too; my mom was strongly opposed to the idea of me getting short hair, but I did it anyway.
I've always been like a boy. When I was little, I always bought the boy toys from the dollar store.. I never wore dresses, pink or makeup.. and even today if I wear makeup or anything girly, I feel kind of... humiliated and I feel like hiding in a corner where I can't be seen.
The majority of my friends know, including a now, good friend of mine, Sam (or Jenny ;) ) who's also transgender.
It's nice to have all of my friends' support even if I don't have my own mom's support.. -.-"
I honestly had know idea what to say, really.. xD
So uh.. it's nice to be here.
I'm hoping I can meet some nice and understanding people and maybe get some advice where I might need it.
