Title: My Experience at E3000 for Electrolysis
Post by: jamiejo on September 01, 2011, 12:19:11 PM
Since I get asked a lot about my electrolysis experience at E3000, I thought I would share "my" experience.   Knowing the facts is very important when is comes to electrolysis and making a choice between Local Electrolysis vs. E3000.

I recommend T-girls to read www.hairfacts.com (http://www.hairfacts.com)

This is the fast method for permanently eliminating facial hair - PERIOD!

Per E3000 it will take 70-90 hours for the average bead. This is 8, 9 or 10 trips.

They work on a section at a time, say half a upper lip = 6 injections of lido (you will count all six). Side burn - 10 injections - you get the picture. Each session will be 80-100 injections. I use to faint at the sight of a needle, now they don't worry me at all.

Between each session you have to wait 6-8 weeks and grow your facial hair out for 3-4 days before your appointment.

Session #1 - 22.5 Hours - $2,646.50 (Two tech - 1.5 days)
Session #2 - 10.5 Hours - $1,102.50 (Two tech - 1 day)
Session #3 - 14.25 Hours - $1,503.60 (Two tech - 1 day)
Session #4 - 10 Hours - $960.90 (One Tech - 1.25 day)
Session #5 - 7.5 Hours - $619.65 (One Tech - 1)
Session #6 - 9 hours - $1,053.40(One Tech - 1.25 day) - At this stage shadow was gone - still shaved ever day - most people then go to a local electrologist to finish up after round  some continue with E3000 with other parts of the body - like the south pole!!!
Session #7 - 5 hours - $557.15 (One Tech - 0.75)
Total 78.75 Hours to Date

I'm planning three more trips to E3000. Totally cost - $20K sounds about right which is include travel.

Remember plus Hotel, travel, food, car rental, parking, etc - works out at ~$900 per trip.

78.75 hours - I would be 90-95% hair free. Session 1 thru 5 was before I transitioned, 6 & 7 was after going fulltime, so growing beard out sucked. I traveled androgynous, using the men's bathrooms - sucked again.

Cost between E3000 & going to a local electrolysis (350 hours x $50 + travel to appointment) = it's about the same. The only difference E3000 was being done in less than half the time and you only had to grow your beard out 10 times vs. every week. Yes you have to take vacation, but then again I saved 200-250 hours = which is a wash anyhow!

I'm heading back October 4th for round 8 (don't think there will be much) and round #1 on the South Pole. Will only do 4 sessions of south pole, Dr Brassard claims you will be hair free, I'm just trying to make sure and do a little extra lawn work.

BTW If you do go, would you mind dropping my name! They have a referral program, so since I done the Youtube videos I think they own me big time.
