Title: Sometimes you have to let people go
Post by: mowdan6 on September 03, 2011, 12:58:55 PM
I always thought my ex was supportive.  Of course all the time he was being supportive he was looking for my support.  He is at a place now, that my help is no longer needed, and I found out the other day, that he is talking about me using female pronouns and being very sarcastic about it all.  So, I called him and said,"I thought you were a better person than this.  My mistake....and...we are done."  And then, hung up.  No need to drag it on.  It was hard, it hurt, but, I refuse to be anyones doormat or the brunt of their insensitivities.  Sometimes......you just have to let the old baggage go.

I've always thought being friends with ex's was a bad idea. I always let those go.

That sucks man...  but it's for the best.  You don't need someone like that.
