Title: websites you go to meet people
Post by: ZaidaZadkiel on September 06, 2011, 03:12:08 PM
OTHER than facebook or twitter.

Things more niche, more interesting, and with cooler people?

I go to cyberpunkforums com which is a fork of cyberpunkreview com
gaiaonline also is a dotcom
and omegle. But don't go to omegle, nothing good can come from that.

SO im bored of those places and want to find some things to find cool people. Any tips, ideas or hints ?

I had a flutter on imvu, there were a few rooms with interesting people.
I also occasionally go on WEBook to talk writing, but a lot of it is teenage girls with thinly veiled stories of their life and teenage boys with world changing philosophies that bring about the real wonder of the world and can be expressed in a poem (all of it in the passive voice).

Other than here: http://talk.notthetalk.com/ (http://talk.notthetalk.com/) and http://imaanlondon.proboards.com/index.cgi? (http://imaanlondon.proboards.com/index.cgi?) which both wind me up like mad and should really avoid and I'm ashamed to say: http://www.not606.com/forumdisplay.php/51-Queens-Park-Rangers (http://www.not606.com/forumdisplay.php/51-Queens-Park-Rangers)  :)

just wanted to say that mangafox is a place where even cis people seem able to think outside the binaries. it never ceases to surprise me how manga/anime addicts often are some of the most open mined people i meet
