The subject says it all. My body is a wonderful shape....except my forearms. I mean, I dont even eat spinach and popeye would be terrified.
I am currently 171 and my goal is 155. I can assure you the 16 pounds is in my forearms. I use hand tools for work. I have no choice. Please help. Maybe have a dog chew them?
Its up to bone structure and muscle structure.
If you have lots of forearm muscles, HRT will shrink it. If its mostly due to your bones, it will but not by much. Foreams usually don't have huge muscles. Honestly though, there are PLENTY of women who have forearms who are a bit bigger. It will with time help the shape of your forearm by depositing fat tissue below your skin and softening it, the overall aspect will be a rounder and more feminine forearm, with a lot less muscle definition.
my bone size is small to normal. My forearms are huge due to pure muscle.

I have a video where I explain how to reduce the muscle in your forarms. It is something that you do with out think over time. I still do it it helps overtime. My old channel has the video on it. I was going to explain it you but the video does that.
Yes, enough time on HRT will help with that.
I will be glad when I am on HRT. But sometimes it don't come fast enough. Feeling like I'm never going to make it. There are always those things about ourselves that drive us crazy that seems as though we can't change or something. Waiting, hoping things will change sooner than latter. This was my thought over two years ago. what can I do to reduce muscle while I'm not able to get on HRT. Sometimes things have to be delt with before you can get to the next step.
I did not control the money flowing into my house so having money for transition just was not there. I have the control now took years to reach this goal. Sometimes get things further transition takes longer than we want it to.
I am a heavy duty diesel mechanic. My forearms have shrunk considerably even though I work full time. I never had super huge arms but they have gotten smaller, no matter how much work I do.
If your HRT is in order, I doubt you'll be able to keep those big arms even if you try. Over time, you will get weaker and weaker and things will require extra effort to do, and you'll lose muscle everywhere... including your forearms. Get rid of most of the T and you get rid of your ability to build or keep muscle easily.
I had to modify how I do things in order to even be able to do some of the things I do. Lots of pneumatic and power tools these days instead of ratchets and wrenches. Or "spanners", for you people across the pond. :)
Oh, and if I really can't pick something up or move it with a dolly or something, I just call a few guys over to come move things or pick things up for me. Guys are good for that. And opening jars.
I don't have any problem passing in female mode, and nobody ever mentions the size of my arms... so I must have done something right.

found this to be true, my arms and hands were never large but enough for truck repairs as well and they have lost mass and strength, but i no longer have to do that and now it don't matter how strong or week i am, only how much i know and what i do with it. (very happy)

You're very welcome.. and the best part about it is that it's true. It gets better and better. Keep with it, the changes will come. :)
I am coming up on three years since I started HRT, and the changes have been incredible. At first it seems like it takes forever, but then before you know it a year, two years, three years or more has passed... And you'll look back at photos and it will blow your mind how much you've changed. Oh, and videos.. especially videos.. go back and look at a video in a few years, that will really stun you!
Yes that's how it works, things seem to get heavier and you haven't bought any new tools. One thing that I really noticed was that before I would be able to carry two or three of something heavy, now I can only carry one. Putting new bottles on the water cooler has become difficult. If you don't use power screwdrivers, etc. then maybe go buy some rechargeable power tools.. those help out a lot.
Oh, and you might have to make a conscious effort to ease up on the effort as well. You might find over time that you can injure yourself more easily, pulling muscles/tendons, etc. So pay attention to those things.. I'm currently fighting a case of tennis elbow, from overworking my right arm. listen to your body and lighten up if it starts hurting. This will help your muscles shrink faster too. Oh and skin gets softer and thinner, so expect to cut/scrape yourself more easily. I wear gloves though, so no problems.
You will find as well that you will lose muscle and gain fat. So your calves/thighs won't' get any smaller in total size necessarily, but will lose muscle and cover over with a layer of fat. So they will look more feminine, but not necessarily smaller. Your mileage may vary.
It may seem like some of this is negative, but I don't mean it to sound that way... It's all totally worth it! ;D

Yeah, I can still do my job but it ain't easy... and I need more sleep as well. I'm looking forward to the day when I can quit doing this, or at least quit working with things that are so darn large. Big trucks and equipment are HEAVY! Lol...

I my case, HRT did to some extent, increased my muscle mass. I am able to lift heavier objects. The large forearm runs in my mom's family and stopped at me. My mom had a little of that, her dad was Popeye, The German! My mom also had a higher flexed bicep than I, but I was able to lift heavier objects at age 17 than her with my Olive Oyl arms. My muscle structure is different. My flexed bicep is a little higher, but flatter than what my mom had. My arms have some smoother shape now and the calves less protruding, skin a lot smoother, scales are gone. I am not complaining.

I'm glad this thread popped up, I've been thinking a lot about this. I have very muscular forearms and after 6 months of HRT I haven't noticed any difference, I work on cars... but even when I haven't done anything for a while they still stay pretty ripped. I'm glad cooler weather is coming up so I can wear long sleeves again.
It is good to hear they'll likely shrink...I'll keep the faith. ;)
This is awsome to read! what about the areas of under neath the arm pits when reaching your arms upward, will that go down as well?
