Title: Spotting Experience/Advice
Post by: Jakeas on September 13, 2011, 12:24:47 PM
I've been on T since 2007.  I went off for about 2 mo prior to top surgery in 2009 (the evil mistress appeared) and have been consistently injecting since then except for a few times when $ was tight after moving but I was never late past 1.5-2 weeks.  I inject every two weeks and my T levels are normal.

The issue is that I started spotting from the gash between my legs (how often do you get to quote Hedwig?) and I'm freakin out a little. Nothing has changed in the last couple months.  I'm not more stressed, I've taken T regularly, I haven't used any new toys and I've never had sex so I know it isn't an STI or something like that.  I had a wonderfully awkward pap when I was 20 (pre-T) but it was cut short when the Dr. freaked out after I told the her I was trans.  I haven't had one since.

A little background pre-T:  It began when I was 12 or 13 and I NEVER had normal cycles - they ran about every 2-4 months except on rare occasions.  In middle school it was always heavy and I had severe cramps and back pain where I would miss days from school because it hurt to move even though I loved school and have a high pain tolerance.  In high school it became a lot lighter but with the same about of time between cycles.  I had higher levels of T than bio chicks ought to have which I didn't find out until pre-T levels were taken... although I figured because I had thicker hair and hair growing in places the bio guys have such as the stomach.

I figure I should probably see a Dr. but the soonest I can get in to a "trans friendly" Dr. is either late Oct or Jan.

Anyone experienced this before?  Or have any advice or know of any Doctors in the Central FL or within an hours drive that I can see other than Barry, Faber or Curtis whom I've already contacted?
