when i had a period before T, i never cramped i had an easy period.. I am now 1 year and 4 months on t and i am experience some pain in my lower tummy any advice?
Sorry I can't help you. I get cramps now each month with mine and am hoping when I start T the cramps and flow will both disappear forever.
ok no personal experience but my bff uses a hot water bottle to ease the pain :) again i am just saying what my friend uses
Maybe it's where your female parts are trying to ovulate or break down an egg and T won't let it.
I have what I'm assuming are similar intermittent pains too. No cycle just come on whenever they feel like - mostly when I'm excited or held onto my bladder contents for too long.. I'd suggest getting checked for cysts etc with a doc. Maybe ultra sound, pap test etc. Now I know I just swore at you saying that and I admit I am just unable to bring myself to have one of those but I did have the ultra sound and all was fine so... I assume it is the T competing with my natural production of whatever else in there, like overcoming my ovaries and them beginning to atrophy or waste away. My solution was to see the GP for a spesh review to have a hysto - now I'm just waiting for a surgery date. Far as I know that should solve my problem lol!
Otherwise dealing with the pain - paracetamol, ibuprofen, heat pack and curl up into a ball for a while works for me! Maybe some chocolate thrown in there to complete the cliche!
(all taken as directed of course..)

Aussie Jay, you are so lucky to be able to get a hyster. How are old are you and how did find a GYN that would do a hyster on you? I am young and don't have the money for one now.
I'm 28 mate.. I just went to the GP - he made a few calls and found a ob/gyn doc that would see me at the local hospital. I am going through the public health system - so I have to wait for it (3-6months) but all at no cost to me. I justified why I want it - I can lower my T dose, which lowers my risk of heart disease etc, and I am unwilling as I said to have a pap and without that I can't ensure the safety of those organs so for my health it is safer to have it all removed.
Where are you located - is there any program like this wherever that is??! I'm very lucky in this country mate - wouldn't wanna be anywhere else to tell the truth!

You are lucky in Aus that you have free medicine/surgery; in the USA I have to pay i all myself when I can find a dr to do the surgery.

There are ways to get it done if you have insurance.
I am pre-T and mine get so bad I pass out and throw up from sheer pain. Heat pads help kinda.
