Title: Estrogen dominance in MtF's on HRT
Post by: Emily Ray on September 14, 2011, 10:32:49 AM
I recently wen to a transgender health conference and it brought to my attention the term Estrogen Dominance. I am on a modest dose of Estrogen and spiro and have had little breast growth in the last 10 months. I also experience terrible cronic insomnia. I have found little research on the possibility o :laugh:f ED in transsexuals and was wondering what everyones thoughts were? There is also the posibility of adrena fatigue. Either way Prometrium would be appropriate treatment.

My understanding is ... if you fall in a mid range between normal male levels and normal female levels then you will experience fatigue.  The doctor at the conference I attended --- said your levels need to either be in the male range or female range otherwise you can experience fatigue, headaches, depression
