Whether or not I deserve the same rights as straight people has nothing to do with whether I chose to be the way I am today
Interesting. The author is all over the map, but I wonder if people who have not had to deal with those issues would "get" what she is saying.

I am bisexual and do not understand the straight or gay mindset.

Exactly what I thought when I read it. Except instead of seeing her as close-minded I felt she was trying to be controversial so as to get people riled.
