Title: Boredom
Post by: Princess of Hearts on September 25, 2011, 11:17:42 PM
Do you feel that you have no right to not feel boredom?    I was reading in The Continuum Concept that people living in a state of nature will drop a task if it becomes boring.   However, we civilised people feel that we don't have the right to complain about being bored and so we put up with meaningless monotonous jobs.

We are today living in a craven cowardly and ignoble age where the people have become dependant upon 'the masters' for just about everything.   remember if someone gives you something then they can take it away just as quickly!

I live in nature here in the country. I get bored with some work then i go do something else and later i come back to finish my boring work which then isn't so boring.

Today i was spreading mulch hay in my garden over cow manure and over weeds i want to get smoothered so the seed doesn't develop fully, so i don't end up with more weeds next yr. I wouldn't call it boring since i have only done this once a yr. It seems most of the work i do here on the farm is all different work which makes for a nice assortment of work to keep from getting bored. Oh its hard work but its all different.
