Title: For those in the UK, how do you feel about the Gender Recognition Certificate?

Just posted an article in Editorials and Opinions, came across a new term; Gender Recognition Certificate. What are your experiences getting one?

This is the government website that currently deals with the Gender Recognition Certificate GRC namely Gender Recognition Panel GRP (http://www.justice.gov.uk/guidance/courts-and-tribunals/tribunals/gender-recognition-panel/application.htm)
