Town Hall event moderated by Darlene Nipper, Task Force deputy executive director.
Last week, the Task Force participated in the second annual Out on the Hill event which coincided with the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's Annual Legislative Conference.
National Gay and Lesbian Task Force Deputy Executive Director Darlene Nipper moderated a panel at the Town Hall style event on Wednesday night. The event focused on two topics, the achievement of marriage equality in Washington, DC and the discrimination and violence faced by transgender people.
