GLAAD: Fewer LGBT characters on primetime

The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation has released its 16th annual "Where We Are on TV" report, which measures the number of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender characters on TV.

And while the shows that make up the 2011-2012 season might look promising, GLAAD says networks have taken a step in the wrong direction as far as inclusion is concerned.

To be fair - the rise of crappy 'reality' TV means there are a lot less characters on TV period.
