Renee premieres on ESPN tomorrow night. It follows Renee Richards, a transsexual tennis player who played in the US open. The film covers that US open and her life since. More info can be found here: http://espn.go.com/espn/espnfilms/ (http://espn.go.com/espn/espnfilms/)
ESPN's 30 for 30 films are pretty well done, and the director (I watched an interview) really seemed interested in portraying Renee's side of the story. Anyone else watching?
I've read both her books.
She's not a personal role model for me.
She's had a lot of ambivalence about transitioning all through her life.

I personally didn't even know about her until I saw an ad for this film.
