There's not going to be a unified answer to this lol. There are just so many factors involved.

Plus you are missing exactly 190 other countries ;)

Well, I'm living in The Netherlands and I can't complain.
People here are very tolerant to others, as long as you do no harm to others, it's okay here.
People are well educated, so they understand something about born in the wrong body.
The Dutch are open minded.
In case of romantic acguaintances I never had a rejection because of my past.

Transition or being gay is not a big issue here these days.
You don't have to safe money for hrt or surgery because of the healthcaresystem, everything is been taken care of and the srs is done here since the late sixties, so they have some experience with it.

Sounds good, but there is also an other side of the story.....high taxes, but everything has his price.

Hugs
Annette

Australia. Where else could be as good?
Except for the brain sucking killer koalas.
The man-eating crocodiles, I'm, OK I'm a woman.
The man-eating white pointers, ditto
The biggest most poisonous spiders you can come across,
The even worse smallest most poisonous spiders you can come across.
Snakes.

But otherwise a great place to live.

Kia Ora,

::) Because I find myself living in Aotearoa[NZ-have been for the last 24 years] I would have to say here, however similar to Annette's country [the NL] we also have a national health system, government funded surgery[4 over a two year period = 3M2Fs 1 F2Ms- NZ population roughly 4 and a half million] plus subsidised HRT...

BTW I lived in the Netherlands for a while Annette back in the late 1970s, it was the most laid back country I've ever had the good fortune to live in, I was living in Rotterdam...

Metta Zenda :)

Thats so much wiser than the way we do it.

I also like how thailand there is 3 toilets . one for the third gender. It's much better than all the BS we force on each other over it all. ;)
