This isn't such an issue for us, here in the UK. But understand the way this has been manipulated, politically, by some in the states.

It has always fascinated me, the way Americans always refer to the lavatory as the bathroom. Dont they realise that the rest of the world gets the idea that all Americans wee in the bath?
I wee in the shower. Anyway, I usually say "restroom" if I'm in public. Bathroom is a little too casual.
And hey, we hear people not from the states use "toilet" to mean the whole room, which also comes off as kinda icky.
What about the Pool? It has Chlorine in it...should be okay to "wee' there... :laugh:

::) Many moons ago I worked in an hospital as an orderly/porter/cleaner, a friend was looking for work so I got him a job there...After which I told him "You could do worse ...It's not a '->-bleeped-<-house' job !" but alas his first duty was cleaning the toilets...How ironic...But we did end up having a good laugh about it ;D ;)
