Not a bad result at all. That's very good to know about Brassard.

It seems that it gets better with each passing day.
Steph
You know, that seems like a wonderful result performed in only one stage..and Steph, things are looking pretty well IMO, totally healed up I'd say; at least it seems that way. Yeah those red lines are supposed to diminish with time and more...um... camouflage ;)....so eventually they will be literally invisible.

Steph, the results look wonderful, and I'm so happy for you. I hope you feel as healed as the pic appears. Thank you so much.
Kristi
There is still a little swelling at the top which distorts the lips a little, but that should diminish over the next couple of weeks. I'm very happy with the way the scars are fading. Although it looks as though it is completely healed, surgeons say that it takes the best part of a year for complete healing.
Steph
Steph,
You are one brave cookie! The results are stunning. Very nice work for a very beautiful woman.

Hi Steph,
Thanks for posting your photo. To better understand the context of the photo could you add details of which technique was used ? and a link to the Dr's web page.
Some Wiki's have lists of surgeons and related experience. Do you intend expanding Susan's wiki to include this ? or link to other sites that do have this information ?
I am really pleased you are happy with the result :)
Ruth
Hey Steph,
Thanks for posting this, those of us who are pre-op really need this kind of information and so few are willing(not that I blame them). Anyway, the results are fantastic, you must be so happy.
Love always,
Elizabeth
Steph,
Congratulations, the results look great. Thank you for sharing such a personal picture. I think you are one fantastic lady.

Good points Ruth something to consider.

Steph:
A wonderful picture. Thank you for sharing. I am touched by your giving of yourself like that. As a pre-op I want to get as much real information as possible. I've been debating where to go for my eventual SRS, and seeing real examples from women I know is much more helpful than testimonials.
Thank you!

Hi Steph,
Thanks for updating the Wiki.
I have added Suporn link as his method is significantly different.
There are also hybrid versions that could be added ?
I also added links to the reference library.

Thanks Ruth, this is really great stuff, links are important. As far as the reference library is concerned - it is being moved over to the Wiki and once completed the reference library will be removed, and the move will taken much effort from all the wiki staff. I've moved th section relating to families/parents etc. but work and life in general lately has prevented me from diving in as I should, so if you and Helen are feeling adventuresome jumps in at any time and start moving articles over :)
