Title: Perfumes
Post by: Metroland on October 22, 2011, 09:41:28 AM
I stumbled upon an amazing mix of perfumes: Versace Woman and Black XS Men (Paco Rabanne). It gives a strong feminine smell with character.

Have you had any luck mixing perfumes? What do you use?

Problem with scents and such is that they mix with the pheromones of the individual the scent has been applied to. So it never smells like it does out of the bottle.
All of my favorite scents don't seem to mix all that well on my body...which I find annoying. However my most favorite perfume smells wonderful on my honey so...I get to enjoy it that way. :)

Most of the scents I enjoy the most are soap or shampoo scents, rather than perfume scents. I love grapefruit or pomagranite based scents. Mmmmm

I totally agree.  I was talking about this in another thread and I feel that scent is person specific.

I was wondering if pheromones are affected by hormones? I was wondering if (when) I undergo HRT will feminine scents smell better on me? Do you think that someones hormones interact differently with scents?

Maybe you could try perfumes with grapefruit or pomenganite extracts. Are there any of these?

Just make sure the perfume doesn't arrive before you do, or linger after you're gone and all is good.

Hormones definitely change the way you smell. My smell changed when I stopped being estrogen fueled and started being testosterone fueled. My favorite perfume used to smell good on me before I changed hormones but it no longer does.

I used to wear a lot of Grey Flannel by Geoffrey Beane.. It's a fairly gender neutral kind of scent, kinda masculine but with some floral notes as well.. Shame is doesn't smell any good on me any more since I started hormones...
