.
I used to, I was taught as a teenager by my grandmother. Now I don't have enough feeling in my hands to do it.
I like the one you show in the picture.
I used to, when I was in my early teens, and then I picked up the crochet needle to tighten up my locks before top surgery (and both do and don't regret doing that now) and I've been meaning to start up again, but haven't gotten 'round to it. Want to make myself a woolen hat that's roomy enough for my locks (who've made my already big head seem rather massive and thus no hat fits!)

Crocheting is hard for me lately because of loss of feeling in my hands but I plan to have surgery soon to correct that. Unfortunately that will mean no crochet for a while. My mother had the surgery and said when I have it I need to wait longer than she did to go back to doing handwork.
Thanks. That afghan has been two years in the making, mainly because I hate working on it when it's hot and down here where I live it's hot nearly all the time.

I'm working on a deer hunter style hat right now, though I have no pictures of it atm. I am doing it in a light brown color but now that I'm halfway through with it wish I had chosen a different color. I may do another in lime green.
You should pick up crocheting again. A simple single crochet hat in the round is easy enough for a novice or part-time.
Nice afgan. I never could get the hang of crocheting or knitting.
I do a lot of garment sewing though.
