Any little girl who wanted to dress up as Harry Potter or boy who chose to be Lady Liberty would not have been welcome at a recent Mormon Halloween party in Sandy.
The invitation, circulated in the neighborhood, specifically barred "cross-gender" costumes.
This is a rogue bishop thinking he can define church policy. "Cross-gendered" costumes are not illegal in the church. So much so I don't go a single year without someone doing one.
The church will likely come down hard on this bishop.
Seriously? Hasn't anyone noticed what the bishops are wearing? Perhaps they just don't like the competition on the catwalk.

Well, LDS bishops don't wear robes like Catholic bishops and they aren't as high up in the church either.
