Title: Hair removal
Post by: Chaunte on March 03, 2007, 08:51:10 PM
Hey, there!

I know that if something looks too good to be true, it usually isn't.  Nevertheless, has anyone ever heard about this or tried it?

THanks.

Chaunte

Never tried it myself, but EVERY single report I've ever read about these "RF tweezer devices" says they do NOT work.

IMHO, the only home units that DO work are galvanic devices that use needles which penetrate the pore down to the follicle such as the Iverness OneTouch. I can personally attest to this, though it takes FOREVER to use, and it's almost impossible to do yourself. But the patches my wife cleared on me did NOT come back, even after a number of years.

yeah chaunte, i wouldn't waste my money on it.  yet there's this prescription cream called [vaniqua] which helps to inhibit hair growth on genetic females.  i asked my endo about it and he said that it's been proven to work on some ts women as well, maybe because of the changes produced by hrt?
