Well, I've been lurking for a few days now, and I thought I'd officially join.
My name is Mattie; I am 21 years old, and am currently living near the southeast corner of MN. I identify as androgyn(e) as I found my niche in the walls of the in-between, so to speak, but I feel much more comfortable presenting myself as more male than female, if/when I can, but even then, I don't disregard the pieces that feels female to me either. There are days, though, that can be pretty discouraging – particularly when people can be cruel, intentionally or not – that makes me wish I had more of a support system installed in my life and around my area. Probably one of the main reasons I'm reaching out to this community.
...erm, what else? I didn't think I'd have so much trouble trying to explain? Express? (FILL IN THE BLANK HERE)? Eh. Most of the time, I just feel like me, so I feel it gets a bit tricky when trying to chat someone else up about myself.
Mm, let's see. Some love: I love getting down and dirty – with crafts! From wood working to painting, cooking to music, hiking to dancing; I just love being busy. Maybe not always active, lol, especially during a Glee marathon or, more recently, the first season of Game of Thrones. Some dislike: Not a big fan of carrots or mushrooms. Oh, and I have a love and hate relationship with technology! Right now, I'm trying to whip my printer into submission with no luck.
Last thing I'll mention is that I'm up at all hours of the day, so feel free to chat me up for some late night conversation.

Fungus (mushrooms), eeewwwwwww yuk! Those things are nasty and don't deserve to be considered food (except maybe for roaches)
