How long after surgery were you able to get back on a motorcycle?
I ride sport bikes and one thing I was wondering is, when you don't have boy bits anymore, does it change the way you ride? I would think that it would be better with seating positions, like on sport bikes the boy parts affect the way I sit on bike because a bump or a quick stop could cause some pain.
depending on how much pulling and pushing the surgeon has to do to give you the depth you decide on you'll find your perinuem swollen to the point it slike sitting on a painful golf ball for some weeks and squashing it flat on a bike might not be the best idea for getting a nice soft open vagina.
if the sports bike has a very narrow seat it will press very nicely on your new bits so be careful.

I figure I'm going to have to take a break from riding for a bit after surgery. A painful golf ball on a vibrating bike doesnt sound like any sort of fun.
I'm too scared.... :embarrassed:

Me too. I would probably fall off at some point and manage to break something.
I'm totally going to some day. ^.^

Take the MSF course if it's offered in your area. It's a two day class and if you have your motorcycle permit, once you pass you get your license. You learn what you need to know to ride safely, the use of proper safety gear and how to operate the bike. I took the course about 4 years ago, was never on a motorcycle before that with the exception of a scooter and now I do track days and ride about 15000 mike a year.

Can't believe I missed this thread! That's Suzi my 2001 GSXR-1000 in the photo. Full Akrapovic system, Power Commander ECI, 750 velocity stacks, and apparently tuned by PTR, one of the country's top race shops. Only 6000 miles on the clock too, for AUD$7500. Nice. There is also a Vespa GTS 300 just out of shot.
Currently I am being tempted by "The Dark Side"; yes, a Harley-Davidson! I am considering putting the scooter in on an 883 Sportster Iron for around town. If the weather holds I plan on a test ride tomorrow, and think about it over the weekend.
Last weekend, on a ride on Suzi I realised that the vibes were quite pleasant with the undercarriage fully retracted, so I am rather looking forward to seeing what the sensation will be post-op! >:-) Will have to see if I can find my old air-seat. :)
How was 'The Corkscrew' at Laguna Seca, Plague? I watched Jeremy Clarkson on BBC Top Gear trying to get through there in a Honda NSX race car a while ago. Looked pretty extreme.
Stay shiny side up girls. Karen.

I somehow missed that Top Gear, I don't remember Clarkson in an NSX. Now, I'm going to have to re-watch them all.
I think it was the last episode of a series, to mark the end of Honda making them, whenever that was.

Hmmm, I have them all of them since the first series, when they had that chubby fellow instead of James May. I'm going to have to figure out which episode that is.
By the way, nice bike! You'll probably be bored on a sportster. I did a demo ride of one and going to that from a ducati is like going from a Ferrari to a Kia.
OK H.R.F. Sorry dear Hard Rock Freek LOL >:-) I am a 1960'S baby LOL ;D ....( grew up on this music)..........

;D
IRON MAIDEN say nothing further I love your taste in music!!!! >:-) I am in to cycber goth Combichrist & angelspit!!! just to mention a few
YOU ARE A.... HARD ROCK FREEK or HRF!! ;)Peace out >:-)
I took a 1200 Sportster Custom for a ride, and was actually fairly impressed with the handling and brakes. Much better than I expected, and did have a decent turn of performance, although it is a 1200 after all. I decided they are overpriced for what you get though, so decided to look elsewhere.
Today I took a couple of Triumphs for a run. A Bonneville T100 and a Street triple.
The Triple went hard and handled brilliantly, but needs a better seat, and does vibrate a bit. The Bonne was a fair bit smoother, but as expected had far less performance. Steering is light and precise but a bit slower, and
it was a bit more comfortable.
After that I did the same run on my Vespa and GSXR1000. The Vespa has got more performance than the Bonne! and was more comfortable than either. Handling is on a par with the Bonne with lighter steering, and it's smoother than either. The Gixxer is at least as comfortable as either Triumph, given my bad back needs a sporting ride position, rather than a cruiser type position. Clip-on bars mean my back is arched more than on the Speed Triple.
I think I will stay with what I have, and save the money for good riding gear instead. Including heated gloves; we might be heading for Summer, but Tasmania's weather doesn't always care! Stay tuned for any further episodes.
Karen.

It not surprising that the Vespa had more go than the bonnie. I've never been impressed with them, they look nice but they just dont have any go. The thruxton on the other hand, does have a bit of go to it. If I were to go with a Triumph, I think I would get a Daytona 675. I test rode one of them and it was awesome. Super light and very fast.
I took the Vespa out this morning, and had to get it on a bit on the freeway because of the traffic, wound it out from 80 to 130 kph no problem. Definitely took a few drivers by surprise! >:-) Lots of fun on a winding road when you come up behind someone driving a WRX, doesn't half give them the sh*** that you can easily keep up.

I took my ducati monster out today and came across a wrx racer boy, I had so much fun looking at him in my mirror after we went through a sharp turn.
I had another run on the Street Triple and decided that it had more traffic presence than the Vespa so, after lots of indecision did the deed. On balance decided I prefer a manual gearbox to an auto, more control.
I'll be keeping the Suzi though as the fairing will make it a better choice for touring, especially once I fit a set of high rise clip ons. Already have an air-seat.
What do you girl do with your hair when you ride XD, My natural hair is still to short for my own tastes and my wig turns into a rats nest. any advice? -Honda "599" 2006
I have a shorter style now so it's no longer a problem. Just used to try and wrap a scarf around my neck to hold it down in the wind.
I ride dirt bikes and my boy parts are always getting in the way. I can't wait to get that fixed. :)
