Title: Never too old
Post by: namco_nut on November 06, 2011, 07:04:30 PM
I have been out as an FTM 14 years ago in college. Unfortunately life throws things at you and it hasn't been until now that I have been in a place in my life to fully transition. I'm now 35 and feel like I'm starting over. The only support I have is another FTM out of state. I'm looking for support and friends to finally transition. I look forward to meeting new people.

Welcome aboard --- it's never too late!

I just turned 40 and started a year ago on this process.  I am taking it slower than normal b/c I have a wife of 12 years and want her to come along.  I have all my requirements for T and surgery -- and just got medical clearance from my internal medicine doc -- so hopefully I will be starting hormones soon.  Chaz Bono didn't start until he was 40 either --- so your still young at 35

Hey hi, welcome! I'm thirty, and I've been transitioning super slowly starting about a year ago. Sometimes life gets in the way of itself. You're not alone at all.
