I was just windering if your post op for a year can you stop taking hormones for 3months and start again?after those three months
if you are post op this is a question to ask your doctor, everyone's bodies needs either T or E, long term absence of either can cause osteoporosis, three weeks without probably will not harm you other than maybe having hot flashes and being irritable, i had to stop E two weeks before my surgery and did not restart till two weeks after, that was four weeks total and other than hot flashes i had no other problems.

Yes it's doable If your post op or have T-suppression you won't get obvious regression.
Their might be some short term reversable effects Breast tissue Atrophy hot and cold flushes feeling like crap. If you go for longer periods like say a year you might suffer bone health problems.
Edit: If you want to mitigate some of the problems accociated with rapid starting or stopping of hormones Might I recomment reducing your dose in the weeks prior to stopping all together. It would cause less of a shock to the system.
So going 3 months off hormones would basically make me have a few minor pains and aggravated like a period
It will absolutely drive you up the wall. I was off prior to surgery and I was an emotional wreck. If the traffic light turned yellow, I burst into tears!
The minute I put the patches back on a month later, I could feel the calm come over me within what seemed like a few minutes.
This is not something to trifle with. If you're post-op, you are truly female and if you don't have E, you can become totally miserable and possibly even suicidal. Ask any woman whose gone through the change. They'll tell you it was not fun.
Oh :/
