I am a pre-transition male to female transsexual. For my transition I plan to look, dress, act the part and take hormones. That's enough, no orchiectomy or reassignment surgery. Are there other male to female transsexuals like me that are going to transition, are in transition or have transitioned without the surgeries but still take hormones? Also, those of you on female hormones how does it affect your sex drive and would you still able to penetrate your partner even on the hormones? The reason I am asking is that I want to take hormones to grow breasts and achieve other female features but would I still be able to penetrate my partner?;(I am single at this time, this is for future reference when or if I take hormones) Because I am a M2F non-op who is mostly attracted to other M2F non-op/pre-op transsexuals. Are there others out there that are M2F pre-op/non-op that are also attracted to M2F pre-op/non-ops? Any responses would be appreciated. Thank you.

I can try and answer a few of your questions, I am a non-op MtF. I started my transition about a year ago and am on hormones and living full time as female. At some point I plan to get an orchiectomy but I do not need srs to be happy. There are plenty of other non-op transgender females that simply take hormones and live as girls.
After being on hormones for a year I can say that my sex drive has been reduced, but that doesn't mean I can't get turned on. It may not be the same for everyone, but I have no problem getting erections if I am turned on and it is still possible to penetrate others. I think orgasms feel way better now than they did before I started hormones. For me they are more drawn out and slowly taper off, rather than a burst of pleasure that only lasts a few seconds. I think it has to do with both the hormones, and the fact that I am in a role that I feel much more comfortable in.
I identify as lesbian, I am attracted to women, wether or not they are cis-gendered, MtF pre/post-op, or non-op.
I think this would fit better in the non-op section. :P
I've been on HRT for a little over a month and there has been a considerable decrease in sex drive, in the sense that I don't get excited out of the blue anymore, I don't get random erections. It is slightly more difficult to make myself erect, but it's very manageable and could easily penetrate, if wanted.
The orgasms seem slightly stronger now but I'm not too sure about that. Oh, and my ejaculation is pretty much non-existant. A tiny little bit of water (without taste or smell) leaks out if I really ... Squeeze it.

Most people can not get an erection after about 6 months on the standard dose of anti-androgens. But some can.
Most people have diminished sex drive.
I think that if you want personal answers, you should post on a less open thread.
