Gender Dysphoria
What is Gender Dysphoria to me?
It's the Cross Product of Shame and Misery.
It's a function of life raised to the power of gender incongruency.
It's the Integral of anguish multiplied by our society
The equation is taken from the definition of life
Self-hatred, self-doubt, Shame filled with strife.
Happiness and fulfillment are subtracted away
Leaving only functions of Misery and Doubt to stay.
When you divide happiness by zero what is absolutely known
The result is the gender calculation which was previously shown
You can integrate and calculate and try and find your way
You can use logic and deduction and try and reduce it away
But it will remain in the calculation of my life
Leaving the functions of Shame, Misery and Strife
These factors can not be cancelled by any algebra we know
In fact, the news gets worse! These factors actually grow!
As time wears on these functions approach infinity
And there is nothing I can do as I lose my sanity
Even knowing myself doesn't make it any more clear
Because of all the things involved, those things I fear
And this is what Gender Dysphoria means to me.
It's the Cross Product of Shame and Misery.
Where the prevalent functions are Confusion and Strife
And Suicide is the only constant in my Life.
What can I say about this poem, other than I understand it.

OMG, Jessica, this poem is poignant, profound and powerful. It's beautiful but, oh, so said and, oh, so true. Well said, Hun; well said.
Hugs!
