Title: Insomnia

Anyone know of anything that can help? It's gotten so bad that I've become nocturnal..literally.

Not sure if they have it where you live, but my aunt uses this herbal stuff called Midnite. Worked pretty good for me. You could always buy some NyQuil, maybe.

I live in Los Angeles, I've never heard of that. I tried Benadryl and that didn't do ->-bleeped-<-.. so I'll look into that. :)

Ah, Benadryl, my first venture into "lets take a bunch of this and see what happens". It used to knock me out when I was younger, but I was (stupidly) taking 6-7 of the things at a time.

Definitely try the midnite stuff if you can find it, one tablet of it put me out and didn't make me feel all sluggish and gross. NyQuil, eh, it does the job but it tastes like Dawn soap. Don't ask me how I know that.

Have you ever tried melatonin? I had a bit of a bout of insomnia quite a while ago and I found it helped me immensely. Though you have to be careful, I found (and have also heard from other people that have used it) that if you take too much it'll have the exact opposite effect and just keep you awake. It's fairly inexpensive, if I remember correctly from my health food store days a good sized bottle of it was about $10 CAD.
