I'm back now and likely to stick around for a while. I joined a while back (3+ years) but I had stopped posting and reading because I felt trapped in limbo and the forums made me more depressed to see others forward movement.
But now I'm moving forward again. I have been on HRT for a while now, but until recently when I got official ok from my pcp it was low dosages. She wrote my new prescriptions, but she is trying to get a local endo to take over. I've been in therapy for my anxiety for over a year now, but we only started the RLT clock a few months back.
I finally had to come out at work and they greeted it with a "so what!". My wife's family has had a hard time dealing with me coming out, but they are starting to come around. I've not really spoken with mine for several years because of unrelated issues, but they REALLY don't like me now (except for a couple). I just finished updating all my records after I had my name legally changed. Out of all the people I've dealt with only 1has been negative and several have been awesome.
I've had three facial LHR treatments so far, and I'm working on extensions to help my hairline.
I'm so much less anxious since I've come out and I'm actually starting to feel good about myself. Most of my friends have accepted me. I also realized a while back that if I close out my IRA completely I can just manage to afford my GCS.
Thank you for such a great resource yet again, and for all those getting discouraged please remember that it really does get better!
