Title: Can I uprate somebody for the happiness their siggy gave me?
Post by: Felix on November 10, 2011, 10:50:39 PM
Obviously that's just getting maybe a bit silly, and the plus one would end up attached to a post that had nothing to do with it. Is it kosher? I haven't been here long enough to know if I'm using the reputation system properly.

There's a person whose signature line often comes to mind when I'm going about my day, and though it's not a sentiment that applies to me, it makes me feel happier and stronger when things get difficult.

Several polls, lots of posts, and tons of examples seem to demonstrate that no one else knows how to use that system either.  So you're free to do with it as you will.  Particularly on the up-votes.  No one seems to mind those too much.
