So ive been producing electronic music for ages now, i find it really theraputic but its only recently i have really started to take pride in what ive been doing. So here is a link to my soundcloud for anyone who wants to listen: www.soundcloud.com/gracie-e (http://www.soundcloud.com/gracie-e)
I like it, the production values seem to be professional to me.
Are you primarily interested in hardstyle? Because that's what all of the tracks I listened to were.
I would really like to see what you can do if you branch out and try other genres.
Hey can you post more or pm me sometime? I'm no longer in any electronic music subculture (and never was very deeply), but I love the stuff and wouldn't mind hashing out detaily stuff when I'm more in that headspace.
Neat stuff. Watch out! You're being followed!
@ Guatanamera, Thanks very much, if you go a bit further into the past on my songs you will find some experiementation with more break-beaty sounds and theres a song made of native american samples lol. Im pretty much self taught when it comes to making music so its hard for me to venture into new genres too much. I really need to get some collaberations going to broaden my horizons!
@ Felix, always happy to chat about pretty much anything :P. I post my new songs to soundcloud as soon as im happy with them so just keep checking, you might wanna check my favorites list on there aswell, theres a lot of stuff much better than what i do :P
@ Maya, :P So are you!
I don't use soundcloud all the time-
But when I do it will be to stalk you (From now on.)
Does anyone else want to post their accounts?
IHMO, this should become the default electronica/house/techo/electro/dub/hardsytle thread?
Any objections?
Gracie - I don't think I came across the song with Native American samples... I did something with samples of a Native American speaking a while ago: http://esproctor.bandcamp.com/track/lost-in-a-time-warp (http://esproctor.bandcamp.com/track/lost-in-a-time-warp)
It's a really beautiful, rhythmic way of speaking, lends itself well to music.
Guantanamera - http://soundcloud.com/mayazimmerman (http://soundcloud.com/mayazimmerman), though I'm going to have to get rejected on the basis of the genres you listed. Maybe my old alter-ego would do for that... http://michzimmerman.bandcamp.com/album/the-red-army (http://michzimmerman.bandcamp.com/album/the-red-army)

What genre do you typically compose for?
These days, melodic Ambient. I'm hoping to start playing a little Rock soon. We'll see.
Soundcloud works fine for me, but I can't get anything on Bandcamp to play or download. The site tends to make my browser just hang. :(
http://soundcloud.com/gracie-e/long-evening (http://soundcloud.com/gracie-e/long-evening) New song :)
Felix - Oh no! Bandcamp is my favorite internet music resource! What OS/browser are you using?
Gracie - Thanks for reminding me. I saw it when I checked Soundcloud earlier today and meant to come back to it. It sounds like it should be played out of much larger speakers than those connected to my computer. :)
OSX 10.4 and non-updateable Firefox 3.6. I hashed this out a bit in another thread. A lot of the internet is pretty janctified for me. My computer was literally garbage when I found it, and I didn't expect to keep it so long. :D And I can't modify the hardware any because lol I can't get the casing open.
Finding a leaner browser was discussed, but I really just need to get myself down to freegeek and do some volunteer work in exchange for another computer.
Oh my. Well, good luck with that! My computer's tried to die on me several times over the past 6 years, but I keep resurrecting it. :)

I'm liking it- although it really reminds me of techno from the 90's. Not sure how I feel about that, or the 90's in general. ::)
I'd like to see a lot more samples in your next song. I think that would really make them shine.
