I'm sorry for bringing this here. But I do remember some girls talking about this game before. lol. So...

I just wanted to say hey you should vote for Mortal Kombat for Best Fighting game of the year for Spike's VGA. I also think Freddy is up for best DLC, but I personally didn't like him. lol.

If this gets locked for off topic. Or mabe I could start a topic. How many girls use to or still play Mortal Kombat? lol.
I use to play all the time as a little boy(Ohh god). I still play from time to time. So I'll leave it there. HaHa

I used to play it occasionally, but I get bored over time with any fighting game.  I would vote for it in a genre contest, though.

I got the first one for my birthday one year, played it (on the Super Nintendo) for a long time and went on to play each sequel. I think MK4 was my fav, but I do like other fighters though, like Street Fighter and Soul Calibur.

Shoot!! I thought this thread was going to die with a Flawless Victory with no one posting toward it. lol. But yeah I have the new one for PS3, although my PS3 is packed up and I rarely play. I really liked the new one that is out.

I played it between the ages of like 3 and 6 (I still don't understand to this day why my parents would want me to play it.) I've graduated to mostly anime style games and games that focus more on plot and characterization, but fighting games can be fun occasionally.

That's pretty funny because the same with me. My parents bought me MK2 for genesis and my mom told my dad to make sure its ok for me to play. So I'm playing the game with him and I performed a fatality, then my dad yells to my mom "Hunny, It's ok!!". lol
