Title: Being thankful for the small things
Post by: mowdan6 on November 19, 2011, 01:32:35 PM
I was originally going to write a rant.  How my parents, who are in their 80"s, sometimes accept me (when I am helping them) , but have never accepted my transitioning.  You see, I got this Birthday card today, from my Dad, and his personel message blew me away.  And I know I need to realize, when he wrote this, it was from his heart.  My Dad does'nt say things he does'nt mean.  So even though the message might change tomorrow, I will treasure what I got today.  His message said, "God sees your faith, and so do I.  And, it makes me proud."  I will always treasure his message.

Hi Mowdan6

Hard to imagine a better message from your father!  That cetainly shows at the heart level he has tried to understand what you have gone thru and admires the faith you have shown thru it all.  I just wanted to celebrate with you, and I'll bet Jesus would tell you well done my good and faithful servant.
