Title: i like this doc
Post by: anibioman on November 21, 2011, 12:04:48 AM
so this phsyciatrist who is the head of adolecent physiciatry at the clinic/private practice i go to is a really nice guy. i normally go to a doctor Richard Pleak.

so now to tell the story from the beginning im trying to get home instruction from the special ed department at my school because i feel really uncomfortable actually going to school. so to begin i had to have an educational evaluation, a psychologic evaluation, and then i was supposed to have a psychiatric  evaluation. the doctor who they wanted to send me to was my actual doctors student so here report of me would be bias in some way so  i went to my doctor superior instead.

so on his report he wrote OHI (ADHD), ED (depression), and GID after writing that he said to me that "the diagnosis of GID isnt identifying a problem, there is nothing wrong with you, its just a diagnosis so you can get treatment." which he is the first person ever to pretty much tell me im not ->-bleeped-<-ed up, which makes me happy.

i just told the long version of this story.

That's great news! :) It's always a relief to find a doctor who suits you.
