I have not posted in a little bit, but today is the big day, and of course.....not a wink of sleep. But I'm sure that's to be expected. In about 5 1/2 hours or so till I have my SRS & AM done with DR. Chettawut, and seeing as I'm a total zombie now I made a pre-surgery thoughts video. Seeing as Im going to be off my feet for awhile I'm not going to have much better to do. ......so I'll update, if all goes well of course......But I'd love to hear from some of you other girls about your experiences with traveling out of your country for surgery, and how everything turned out for you. Thanks
My tired views lol

HI Jenna, I am glad everything has worked out for you as you know I postponed my GRS because of the Floods & I was having surgery with Dr Chettawut & staying In the Duist Princess, In your Opinion after going ahead Was there any Power flood Problems & did you have your Grs In the hospital or Dr Chettawut's Clinic I just want an honest answer As my Goverment changed there advice the day after I was supposed to travel and I am now Kicking myself for not going Such Is life But february Is only 10 weeks away.
Best Regards

Hey Babz.
As they say, better safe then sorry. So no reason to kick yourself in the butt for being cautious. I got here on the 24th, and there was no flooding or anything from the airport to the hotel to the clinic. You could see sand bags around quite a few areas, but they seemed untouched. No power issues, and seeing as I'm staying at the same hotel as you would be, everything was fine there also. I think the flooding reached it's peak around the 8th, but then things started to get better after that point. When I first got the hotel, I was staved and went right to the mall.......which was packed full or people. So my guess is that things really improved after the 8th to the point where things went back to normal. As for where I had my surgery, I had it at his clinic and everything has gone well so far. But if you went when you were going to go, things might of looked a bit rougher, but I had heard for my date that things would be greatly improved so I was not as worried about the conditions.
You might have to wait 10 weeks longer, but at least when you go, you will have the peace of mind and one less thing to worry about.

Thanks so much for your kind words :) But ya, It does feel good knowing that there is new chapter in my life to explore. The surgery and recovery have honestly gone better then I thought they would, as I figured I'd be a little worse for wear. Today, less then 2 days after surgery I walked for the recovery room to the patient room, which was down a set of stairs, and it was no issue. So all this has me hopeful for a quick recovery and a start on this new path I have in front of me.
All the best to you to Catherine when you big day comes for you.
Jenna
Post op day 4 update
HAD all my tubes removed, and packing also. The vagina is very swollen as are the breasts....I'm back at the hotel and freaking out a bit cause i never felt as bad tonight at any point at the hospital. Im not sure what to do. Mostly its the breasts the hurt, and the tramidiol is not cutting it for pain.....hopefully I can get the solved soon. The SRS has gone smoothy, but now I understand why people dont't like to get the breast augmentation with SRS.....cause that's what really hurts.
Hang in there sweet girl. The worst is over.
See if you can focus on your favourite place, experience, person, movie; or
something that makes/made you feel really good in the past.
Focus on whatever that is so much, that your pain deminishes. Have you found the
most comfortable spot to sit/lie.
Wishing you all the very best Jenna, and a speedy recovery.
Be safe, well and happy
Lotsa huggs

Thanks so much for the support.....and hopefully it does deminish soon, but it's not at all the SRS....that area is just sore but no issue......the breasts are a whole different story.....when I stand the pressure is breath taking......so hopefully the nurse that's going to stop by soon can figure out what's going on and what we can do to make this easier.
to think I use to read people saying doing both at the same time is intense, and painful.......and now I know it aint no lie...but at least it's only one of the 2 giving issue.

HI Jenna, Hang on In there Things I am sure will get better I am sure there are stronger Pain Killers than Tramadol IF I remember correctly I think you can take Cocodamol with Tramadol as well to help subside the pain Naproxen Is another but you cant take anything else with Naproxen might help Have you got anybody with you to speak with a pharmacy or go to Dr Chettawut Clinic for some help. Hang on In there .
Lots of Hugs
Babz
Ya, I talked to the nurse and she said on the phone we can do that......but on the good side Babz I can tell you the SRS is a far less painful then you would imagine.....they give you a epidural, and you feel very little down there until they remove the packing and drains......so if that's all your getting you should have a smooth trip here and back
Congratulations - you are beautiful.
Hi Jenna im glad to hear that all went well. I have my SRS surgery scheduled with Dr. Chett in October 2012. Is their any advice you can give me? and are you happy with the outcome? When they pulled the drains and packing out did it hurt? OMG please let me know. Im really nervous and you seem like an honest person to give me honest advice.
Thank you
