"HISTORICALLY, Ms. Kay is one of the oldest living transgenders in this country having transitioned at the age of 17 after being diagnosed with Klienfelters [sic] Syndrome in 1967."
Ms Kay is most likely intersex. Rather than Klinefelter syndrome, she was probably simply born with chromosomes that are neither XX nor XY, such as XXY, XXYY, XXXY or the like. She may even have a mosaic karyotype like XX/XY -
