Title: We are al de-transitioning
Post by: Jen61 on December 09, 2011, 05:20:25 PM
So it is like all those "were you gay before you transition," and "the MTFTM" thread had me thinking that for those of us who felt female very early on in life and had never been confused about our gender identity, then it follows that we were forced by society to transition to male and now we are de-transition to our correct gender.

Since I was never dysphoric about be female, it was the society that were dysphoric about my claims.

So I am a FTMTF ! How about you ?

Kia Ora Jen,

::) A novel way to view it, I must say.....

::) A few years back I went to see a trans-woman friend perform in a local play, and one of our mutual cis friends [who knew about my past] asked me why I didn't get into 'acting' and have I ever acted ? I told her for most of my life I was an actor and a good one at that, I was forced into an acting career at a very young age,  but now I have no need to continue this career path, I've hung up my male persona for good...

Metta Zenda :)

Beautifully said, Zenda!   Agree completely.  So true.

Aye, I may be transitioning physically, but otherwise I'm simply stopping "passing" as a man. My sense of gender is fairly neutral, but my form ought to have been female and that's important to me to restore. So in a sense I'm a FM2WA - a faux-male to womandrogyne :).

Interesting idea.

I recently had a long forgotten childhood memory resurface, of praying that God would make me a "real boy like all my friends."  Seems like I was more aware of my true gender than I realised, just didn't have anything positive to relate it to.  It was the late-50's Australia, so that's not surprising.

Honey you hit the nail on the head! What more to say :-)
Other then I just had made your point in another thread about: "What is a transsexual woman?"
