??? I don't know what to do for cross-dressing. Should I just wait until I get a job to buy my own clothes or convince my parents? And what size should I get for clothes?
I can fit any size shirt in teens small, medium, and large (I like large baggy shirts, but not too big). In pants I wear a size 14 or 16, and I like skinny jeans. And for shoes, I am a size 7 in a half (USA), 5 (UK), 38 (EU), and I like the skater-type shoes.
Thanks guys.
If I can help a bit, I believe a womens size 16 is a mens 36" waist, and I believe a womens size 14 is a 34.5" waist, so closest to a 14 in mens is a 34x30 or something.
If you don't want to try on pants in a store, you can do what a lot of guys do and just hold the jeans up to your waist and see if you can touch each end to each of your hips. So I'd suggest going to the store and holding up a pair of 36"x30 pants and see if they seem huge or small on you, and try the same with a 34"x30. The second number is the height of the pants, and 30 is most common, but you can find 28 and 29 sometimes for shorter guys. Skinny mens jeans ("regular fit" jeans) may be closer or even tighter in fit compared to similar sized womens jeans. Mens jeans rarely stretch for example, so they either fit or they don't. Mall brands seem to fit me better than cheapest store brands.
Well, it's Christmas time and a lot of people are buying gifts. And I know that some women buy mens pants just because they sometimes cost less than womens, so I don't think you should worry too much, though I understand how awkward it feels looking at clothes of the opposite gender.
As far as whether you ask your parents or not, thats a personal thing, it also depends on your tastes and you may not like what your parents choose for you.
Best of luck,
Embla
Actually you usually add around 21 to your womens pant size. like i wear an 11 in womens and a 32/33 in mens.
Just try stuff on at the store, that's how you find out clothing sizes. It's way more accurate than speculating at home. Trial and error.
Also, you are male so it is not called cross-dressing.
