Title: Is that a boy or a girl?

Has anyone ever asked this question around you?

like children asking their parents or people asking their friends behind your back?

I have memories of that kind of thing from early childhood. It made my life a living hell but now it is a great advantage. Right now my only concerns passing-wise are my voice and facial hair. That's before any HRT, although there are a lot of things which could be improved.

All my life  :P  I did find it rather bothersome when I was young, particularly when folks would become confrontational and/or physically invasive trying to find out  >:(  Things were different then, there weren't the sexual harassment laws in place like today

Now a days I just smile and go about my business

I've heard that one many times. Usually it's kids in public and the parents are thoroughly embarrassed. It doesn't bother me at all though. I'm over 50 and I've worn long hair in feminine styles since I was 21. This has only  happened with me when I've been dressed in men's clothes or androgynously. I've never heard it when I was wearing lipstick and a skirt.

Kids like me. I have no idea why....My friend introduced me to her 3 year old daughter and she was so nice to me. But it freaked me out.

But otherwise, I think I heard that in the beginning a bit. But not anymore...For like the past few years.

But people normally make sure you hear it.... It's just to bring you down and it sucks.

ALL THE TIME when I was younger. I mean... seriously all the time. I guess that is sort of a good thing for when I transition, I will be used to it. ;)
