Title: Clicking "Notify"
Post by: Joeyboo~ :3 on December 19, 2011, 09:18:44 AM
So... I clicked notify on a topic that I didn't comment on but I still wanted to follow it and see new replies.

But where do I go to see them?
Because I never get notified for new posts on that topic.

Also, how do you stop getting notifications on posts you posted on, but you know.. you're tired of following it.

There is a box called unnotify that will show up where notify was.

Also, the notifications should be going to whichever e-mail address you had linked up.

You can't ever make the topic stop showing up in "Show new replies to your posts" unless you delete all of your comments in the thread, and if you were the OP, then the thread must be locked.

When I created this account, I though briefly about resurrecting my old one, but not having the Do I Pass threads show up was too good of a side benefit. Plus, I don't like everything I say, it was like changing my clothes.

If you receive your via email, there is a 'no longer subscribe to this thread option.' You click on it and is asks if you want to unsubscribe to the thread. I have an email account just for Susan's so it is easy to manage. As you know here are limitless accounts for free through the web engines so it doesn't cost anything to do it that way, and you have control other everything. As long as you remember the passwords :D

Is there a way to have threads I want to follow, but did not post in, show up somewhere here on the site? Or only sent to my email address?

If you choose a thread to be notified of, it will show up in your profile, under the 'Notifications' option. There'll be a list of threads you've chosen, from which you can either click to read, or to unnotify.
