because we keep stealing each others threads.. ftm vs mtf
XD
I would pick; Nina
it seams pretty nice, alittle tomboyish, but still rather femenine..
what would you choose?
My name is unisex, so I would probably stick with it, but if I had a choice I'd probably pick something like Eva, or Wren.
I like short names.
wouldn't most people just stick with their birthname?
Well I think I'm biased because I hate my birthname SO much, since it's so girly. When I changed my name legally, I chose a gender neutral name, so I think I would still go with that name.

if you where mtf, then its pretty likely your birthname wouldn't be a girlname.
It would be Electra, Haruka, Michiru, or Makoto

Someone likes Sailor Moon and lesbians.
But I can't really talk because I'd probably name myself Utena.
uh... about lesbians.. would name myself shane.. because shes hot....
.....
is shane a girl or a unisex name btw?

It's unisex. :P
Interesting but strange question. If I had been AMAB, then my name would be completely different from my chosen name. So I couldn't simply use the name I was given at birth for this scenario. Hmm...I probably would pick Madilyn. No idea for a middle name.

daim I just notice...
for a short second I felt like changing name again,
but on the other hand shane, sound more like a girl name than a guy name to me,
so just satified with what I got.
I'd go by Sam, short for Samantha. Maybe have Hailey, Kaileigh or Meryl as my middle name.
I strongly dislike my birth and it goes beyond me being a guy.
I think it'd probably be Riley or Chelsea though since I used to be told I looked like both of those names...a long time ago. I'd likely be a very edgy MTF though, because that's what I was like when I was more andro.

Edgy people are hot people.
I'd definitely go with Lily, cause it's just an awesome name.

Saying I'm not edgy now is an understatement, but it's much more toned down than it used to be.
Like, I'd show you, just not on here, because I'm mad androgynous and look very little like I do now.
Lulz.
I have so many old pictures.

I honestly... cannot fathom being a girl even enough to answer this question. My instinct is to pick the manliest name a girl could get away with, but that would be me sneakily being an FTM anyway. ??? :D
yes, same here, lol.
I was christened Christopher but allways known as Chris, so i would modify my name to christine or Christina ,as i'm a bit daft i probably woudn't remember an entirely differrent name.
I have no idea.
Haha, I love these mirror threads.
I think I'd pick Lily or Echo. I'm not sure why I think of Echo as a girl name, or why I like Lily. :P
Uh, I guess I would keep it as Lee. Yeah, I'm dull. :P
I'd pick something like Charlotte.
My name would be Ricky if I was an ftm.

I know FAR more male Shanes than I do female Shanes.
I think Juliet is a beautiful name but I wouldn't do it justice.
I really like the name Johanna, but I don't know if I'd name myself that. Maybe Avery.

Johanna is lovely, a variation of the male Johannes in my family. I knew a girl in Jr. High with the last name Avery, she was mean to me. :(
Even if I were inclined to name myself Johanna, I couldn't. My friend preemptively claimed the name for her firstborn daughter, so that she could have me sing "Johanna" from Sweeney Todd to her. :P
I would have to say Willow. I'm not particularly sure why I fancy that name, but it's the only one I can think of that I would choose.

Agreed.
I didn't even know Shane could be a girls name.

You're looking very Shane today.
XD
I would definitely go with Slagathor (a cookie to whoever gets the reference). No, wait! First name Veloci, last name Raptor. No, I got it. Quilava @_@... It would surprise no one around me. Hell, I'm going to name myself after a Ninja Turtle and I'm still battling for my right for the middle name Link.
By the way, you can all relax, I would never name any of my daughters these names xD. Don't tell my boyfriend though, I want him afraid to have children for a few more years >.>...<.<...>.>...

I have a friend who registers his grocery store cards in the name Ryan Osserus.
...Ripley...
Ripley...Jo (Burst Angel, Anyone?)
Because I can't imagine having a girly name...ever.
Bahahaa, end.
I would choose one that I felt suited me, and I cannot say what that'd be since no female name reflects me whatsoever. I do not choose my name based simply on what I like in terms of sound or meaning.
I can think of several male names I like better than my chosen one, but none would portray me accurately, ya know?
So it's impossible to say which female name I would choose.

'Ripley...believe it or not, I'm a girl!' :P

Haha priceless :)
I picked my name based on a masculinization of my birth name. I probably would still do that. I think that if I were born male I would have been named Andrew, so maybe Andrea?
