Today I recieved the first item of female clothing that I have ever bought for my own use! ;D
It isn't much, just a rather plain 'Gypsy' Denim calf length skirt with white Lace Trim and a white belt that I got off of e-bay. It's brand new and it's mine, all mine I tell you!
It feels wonderful too, I feel so much more free and alive in it, I get this warm 'buzzy' inner glow, but happily (for me) not at all sexually turned on.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
Another shopping maniac has been born. It's a nice feeling to have your own wardrobe. I sometimes think that my shopping is out of control, well my wife thinks so. :D
Chat later,
Steph
Congradulations Lyn, it does feel nice when you get a new outfit. I am sure this will just be the beginning.
Sarah
Hi Lyn-Jean,
Stephs right, it begins all innocent with a skirt then you need a blouse, a pair of shoes,a new pair of panties a matching bra,the right colour lippie .... before you know it your hooked.
Before long you start dealing with those fashion houses down dark allies, you pull catalogues out of the rubbish, all your spare moments are spent dreaming of your next hit and then the moment comes................. your wardrobe is sudddenly not big enough. ;D
But you have to say its serious fun isn't it!!! Congratulations you've made the first tentative step toward becoming shopaholic.
Shelley
gah... yeah... person I bought this from has some rather nice velour blouses... >:D
There you go it begins..LOL
Shelley
I find there's nothing like shopping to make me happy, and you can never go wrong with anything "gypsy".
GypsyKaren
Hi Lynn:
Looks like you found the mysteries of shopping as a lady and the pleasure it brings.
I had been shopping some what nervious for about 5 or 6 years, but in the last 4 or 5 years, got up the courage to say the heck with what any one thinks and be my self.
the shopping bug has hit me also, and I think I have more skirt and sweater sets now than i do male slacks. I hate shopping as a guy, but love it as a girl, as the girls have so much nicer things to choose from
You will soon get the courage to shop as you wish, and good luck
Denise
I'm with you Denise,
Shopping for male attire is a chore while shopping for female attire is a whole different world. :D
Shelley
Shopping for and trying on women's clothes is one of the more enjoyable things I do. If you shop at the big stores the clerks always seem to be very helpful and willing to bring a lot of different things to try on.
I've made shopping for male clothes a bit more bearable. I wear only khaki or black pants and dress-casual shirts. Every 1 1/2 to 2 years I give away all my male pants/shirts etc. and just pick up 3 pair of black pants, 3 pair of khaki pants, 4 or 5 shirts and black and brown socks. Don't ever have to try it on. Makes for a 15 minute shopping trip.
Anne
Funny Anne. I used to do exactly the same thing shopping for women's clothes that you do shopping for men's. Black pants, the same, replaced every year. Four or five shirts with as few feminine features as possible. A couple of blazers. In and outta there in 10 minutes.
Now I pore over shirt and tie combinations, search for just the right sportsjacket, long for the day I can buy another couple of suits so I'm not so limited. Spent two and a half hours in the men's clothing store last month.
Dennis
And matching purses. Don't forget the purses. Say aren't the winter fashions in now? ;D ;D ;D
We're going into summer down here and wedges are back with long tiered skirts with wide belts hanging off the hips.
I agree Cassie you have to love the change of seasons.
Shelley
Dennis: Isn't it funny how our point of view changes depending on how we "present"?
Anne
It's funny most of the catalogues I get now have all winter clothes and it is still in the 90's here in Southern California. I'm not ready to thing about winter yet.
Oh yes, even though I live in So Calif, I get snow and cold weather. I live at about 4,800 feet. I used to live higher and we got a LOT of snow then, I was close to a ski area, but I don't ski.
Sarah
QuoteI live at about 4,800 feet.
Don't forget to keep flapping those angel wings honey. :D

Shelley: Is your email correct in your profile? I tried to send you a direct message and it bounced.
Anne
Hi Anne,
Haven't checked it for a while so I'll have a look.
In the mean time feel free to PM me.
Shelley
I know how exciting that first is, Lyn-Jean. The first thing I did after comming out was to go online and order a dress. I was so excitied to actually be able to have a dress sent right to my front door.

Both my sis's and my Mum sell clothing on e-bay, I came 'out' to one of my sis's last week, she has twice since offered me to go through her stock. :D *danger, danger, will robinson*
I am going to resist until Mum comes back off vacation and I come 'out' to her. She isn't as tolerant as my Dad (who already knows)... I am half expecting to be thrown out... anyone in UK got a home for a poor lost cute TG? :P
