Title: Areola Shrinking?
Post by: Nygeel on January 01, 2012, 12:39:06 PM
So, this could be all in my head but if it's happened to others, I'll accept it as a possibility.

I looked at my chest and saw that my areola (the area around the nipple) seems smaller and shaped differently from what I remember. Could this be the effects of T?

Can you tell me how to have bigger Areola if female hormones is not working for me? I have it so small and I want it bigger in diameter.

No idea, but I think progesterone has something to do with nipple development.

I have only been on T for 6 months now, but I have not seen any similar change in my areolas. They're as big as they have been. Maybe it's just in your head, but just wait and see. There are more views than mine. I know I'd love it if they shrunk.

@Happy Girl: If you see this, I am at a loss for your concern with areola size. They vary from one extreme to the next and whatever they look like, it'll look normal. Maybe that's all you needed to hear.

Happygirl - It could be a totally crazy/painful idea, but if theres no medical way of doing it, could you tattoo around them and give them a bigger appearance?

Im not T so I cant comment on them getting smaller

I guess that if the whole area were smaller then maybe they would shrink with the rest of the skin.  No real idea though.

yeah, they can shrink along with the whole area.

and yes, there are medical tattoos that can make them appear larger. I used to think small areolas are considered pretty on women though ?
