Title: Telling my sister
Post by: 61313424 on January 12, 2012, 06:21:18 PM
Hello, I am planning on telling my older sister (18) about being transgender. I feel like she's the only one I can trust. But, I feel it will be really embarrassing. Got any tips to help me out?

Are you a boy or a girl? And what exactly do you want her to know?

I'm a boy. I want to tell her about my social anxiety disorder, depression, gender identity disorder. I want to tell her about all the feelings I been keeping to myself for years.

Then why don't you tell her you want to be a boy/are a boy inside? Tell her what you need to say, and then just answer any questions she has.

That's the best I've got, if anybody can help this guy out.

I seem to made a mistake in my last post. I am a girl inside a boy's body.

You could write a letter or ask that she not reply until you have said everything you need to if you forget easily.
