CHENNAI: The sleuths of Anti-Vice Squad on Saturday arrested three persons, including two transgenders, who posed as women and solicited men by sending mails to random email ids, following a tip-off by a software engineer.
Police said Satish (name changed), a techie from Arumbakkam, had received the email that offered escort services by women.
He then called a mobile phone number mentioned in the email when a person, who spoke in a woman's voice, said she and her friend were working in a private company and he could avail their services for Rs 15,000.
