Do we get it after starting T or is this an impossible thing to hope for?
Yep.
We do.
:D
yes a small one, I got overexited about it.

Mine isn't particularly small.
I would say it's at least average size and I'm about four months in.
I always had one...and it hasn't gotten any bigger on T.
I thought everyone had an adam's apple and needed it to swallow or something?

It's attributed to enlargement of thyroid cartilage.
Everyone has one, but there's a point when the size of one is clocking factor of a male
Doing neck and throat exercises may help with enlarging an Adam's apple and lowering a voice.
I've developed one as well, noticed it a few weeks ago but don't know how long it's been there... i'm 10 months on T
14 months in and I haven't noticed an Adam's apple.
I'm not even on T yet and I've got a pretty good sized one already. I expect it won't get much bigger once I do stat on T assuming it changes at all.
What an upside down world. Me I'm trying as hell to get rid of mine...
I've always had one (or what looks like one) and its become more prominent and defined from T, but IDK about bigger. If a size difference is there, it is minor.

Same. I don't know if it's cause i've got a fat neck or what.
I don't know though. I'm an MtF, 33 yrs old and started transitioning last year, and I don't have an adams apple

So your results may vary I suppose.
Not everyone gets one on T. I can feel mine but not really see it.
Mine has grown a fair bit at seven months! I wouldn't say it's visible; not unless my head is tipped back, but to touch my neck the difference is huge. :P

I don't have one either.
Mine def grew bigger.
I'm 3 months and I have one :D
I imagine it's luck of the draw in the same way as Breast size is with us MtF's. However, please don't think that just because your Adam's apple isn't visible that it makes you any less of a man. Genetic males don't tend to be super-critical about other males appearance. in all my years living as a male no one has pointed out my lack of Adam's apple.
I hope that helps. ^_^
It's been almost 10 months on T for me, and mine can be easily felt but not seen except in profile view. My voice is still dropping though, I'm nearly a baritone. I know it's not always a direct correlation to voice pitch, but it did start growing around the time my voice first dropped.
I sing baritone and sometimes bass in my choir, my voice dropped early and quickly, and I've been on T for almost 10 months but I don't have an adam's apple. I wish I had one.
I've always had a noticeable one, but it did get a bit more prominent on T. Or at least, I think it did...
Damn straight you do but it's up to genetics. Mine is huge! There's no mistakin that I'm a passable dude now. hahaha go me!
