Title: Had my 1st appointment at Charing Cross!
Post by: HarryP on January 19, 2012, 03:42:28 PM
Hi guys!

Well, I finally had my 1st appointment at Charing Cross GIC on Tuesday! I saw Dr Davies and he was very nice, and then I had bloods done. So fingers crossed they'll be ok, and then following my second appointment in July I will hopefully have T!  :)

nice one!

I'm interested to know about your RLE? Have you completed the required RLE time or have you been able to get around that? Just wondering as I'm still waiting for my Glasgow GIC appt but I haven't done any proper RLE yet.

Thanks fellas!  :)

El Capitan, I have pretty much completed my RLE: I've been living and working officially as male since May 2010. I'm not sure what the rules are - I know for CHX you have to have done 1 yr RLE and been on hormones for 6 months before top surgery, but that's all I know really.

Dr Penny Lenihan - apparently she's nice, so fingers crossed!  :)

How soon does Dr Seal contact you if he needs to discuss blood results with you? I have PCOS so Dr Davies said it was possible Dr Seal might want to see me if he found any particular hormonal abnormalities.
