Post by: Dillon on January 20, 2012, 01:20:47 AM
Hi My name is Dillon and I'm not sure how much you can help me or if I should be here plain... first I'm a young male and I have no girl friend or wife. I feel I am not who I am I feel I need a transition and I'm fairly sure of it I felt this way since I was 7. I am too shy to tell my family though. I just really need some help here please Any help at all would be appreciated thank you. and if you need any more info I will gladly give you the necessary info.

Hi Dillon,

Life can be very confusing and all sorts of stuff are happening to you. You really need a counsellor to talk to either one from school or even your family Doctor. But do remember there is nothing wrong with you, you are a young person who is exploring their thoughts and emotions. You may be transgendered, you may not be. There is nothing wrong with either.

Many young men do not have girlfriends, and that is also normal and nothing to be frightened of.

I really do suggest you talk to your school counsello to help you get advice and help.

And we are always here for you

Hugs
Cindy

Hey, Dillon, welcome to Susans. It's safe here.

It's okay to be whatever you are, even if it's not what you want to be. Spend some time thinking and don't be in a rush. You don't want to trip over your own feet. Read up as best you can. Talk to people you trust. If you don't trust anyone irl, talk to people online. Reserve your judgement, use your instincts, don't be afraid to evolve. And so on. I don't want to be preachy.

I just want to say that it's okay. You aren't at all the only one going through what you've described.

Be well. :)
